Welcome to Central Oklahoma Care LinkCentral Oklahoma Care Link, Inc.is a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Community-Based Organization Our Mission: Our Vision Our Values COINS serves low income uninsured in Central Oklahoma through its programs and services. Many uninsured served by COINS make less than $10,000.00 a year and work at one or more low wage paying jobs but are not provided affordable health care insurance. Every day calls for help come into COINS' office. Several times a week people needing help come into the office for special assistance. We link them to donated or low cost health care services. These people do not have the faces of beautiful little children that tug at your heart strings and make you want to give money or time to support causes that help them live better lives. These are the faces of the children's parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. These are the faces of worried people who need gall bladder surgery, diagnosis and treatment for cancer, help getting their diabetes medicine and care for their heart disease. These are people who work one or more low-wage paying jobs to feed, clothe and put a roof over the heads of their families. These are the faces of people who may one day be helped when all the health insurance debates are over, but for now they are the one in five people in our community who are uninsured and are experiencing rationing of care. These are the people COINS serves. |
The following are a few expressions of thanks from people who received needed health care from community providers and hospitals who participate in Project Access. “I can not put into words how grateful I am for what Project Access and Dr. Carter did for me. I got the surgery I needed. Thank you”. “When I was homeless and without health care, COINS and the community health system, saved my life-I am now employed with health insurance” “I just want to say thank you, I got the help I needed. I consider my doctor a personal friend because of what he has done for me when I had no where else to turn. When someone reaches out in the right way, the power that has on someone is so powerful it speaks as large as a mountain. Dr. Greenway is a good man”. “Thank you so much for all the kindness and time you put into helping get my successful surgery by Dr. Jett!! People that have no funds or insurance need programs like "COINS", and especially you to make a real difference in their lives!! I will remember your kindness and caring personality forever!
